Austrian badge (diagonal propeller = pilot) 1934-1938. This badge belonged to Otto Johann Ebenbaúer, born in Wiener-Neustadt in January 1, 1915. The Austrian First Republic ended on April 30, 1934 (1918-1934), followed by the Austrian Federal State on May 1, 1934 - March 13,1938, a dictatorship. This pilot badge was awarded to Ebenbauer on July 8, 1937 (Badge Nr. 252). The various qualification badges (pilot/observer, pilot, observer, mechanic, radio operator, aerial photographer) were awarded from July 1, 1934 – April 1, 1938.
