WW1 Japan , rare Nippon Flying School (日本飛行学校, Nippon Hikō Gakkō), enamel badge.The school was founded in October 1916 by Seitaro Tamai and his brother Terutaka Tamai, who are famously celebrated as the "Wright Brothers of Japan". The front of the badge features a gilded eagle clutching a two-bladed wooden propeller. The background displays traditional cloisonné enamel detailing with the school's Japanese name reading right-to-left at the top (校學行飛本日), framed by a green banner at the bottom bearing the English initials "N.F.S." The reverse side clearly bears the stamped English name "NIPPON FLYING SCHOOL" along with its localized Japanese markings.
